It's not black, not brown...grey goes with everything. It undoubtedly is nearer to charcoal. the small heel is simply right to be cute and still feel confindent i am not attending to bite it on the ice walking the children to the bus stop. Cute fur trim comes right below my knee. I'm 5'1"", 105 lb. the complete front laces to regulate to bulky jeans being tucked in, or my larger calves (I dance and run). Once adjusted, they nada up sweet! I wear a five.5, however had to order the vi. Fits somewhat loose within the heel a bit like the other vi I own. Love the small buckle accents. Was worried regarding ordering on-line, however the boots were shipped same day, arrived in five business days, and emailing the corporate has been pleasant. I'm frugal, practical, and quirky. These boots work the bill! the worth was right, they really keep me heat, and are funky enough to create me forget i am obtaining old! I hope the manmade materials inhibition...I'm considering making an attempt a water protectant spray.
