I bought this shoes recently for my trip to Vermont. I used Winter Boots whereas driving a snowmobile when the temperature was around thirty two degrees. As per Sorel's web site the boots has -40 degree temperature rating ( [...]) . i used to be out within the snow for 2-3 hours and my toes started obtaining cold. i'm bit disappointed with that as my arrange was to use this shoes for hiking in cold weather.

Apart from that, Winter Boots works as mentioned and that they match snugly and aren't terribly significant and have descent quantity of traction on ice.

Probably they're smart for shoveling snow and for tiny walks throughout cold season, however i do not assume they ought to be used for hiking in cold weather unless you're sporting insulated socks or layering socks.
